Micah is 2!!

I can hardly believe it, but Micah is 2 years old... TODAY!!! If you ask Micah, he's been two since April, but you'll just have to trust me that it wasn't official until today :) Micah is a really sweet dude. He's loving towards his Daddy, Mama, and "Baby" aka Lizzie. He can be a little shy sometimes, but he can also be absolutely fearless sometimes.

Micah's favorite things right now include letters, puppies, cars, trucks, tractors, airplanes and perhaps most of all, COLORS! He doesn't care if it is a pen, crayon, colored pencil or piece of sidewalk chalk, the boy LOVES his colors :)

Micah has been practicing for the terrible twos for about 6 months and has become a bit of a hair trigger. He's actually much better now than he was, but you just never quite know what is going to set him off.. I'm pretty sure this has much more to do with his age than his personality though :P

Micah's vocab has really exploded recently and we've been surprised daily by the things that he knows. He is starting to speak in sentences a little more often and has become a little easier to understand.

One of Micah's favorite things in the whole world is FOOD. Micah calls pretzels "hearts" because of their shape, which I adore. Micah blew our minds the other day when Nate was sharing a smoothie with him and he just started naming off all of the ingredients by tasting the finished product... I didn't know two year olds could do that!

He loves to be helpful and is always looking for a way that he can be your little helper. We love our Bubba and are so blessed to have him in our lives... Happy 2nd Birthday Micah Bean!
