Church is not about having everything your way, and even knowing this, Christmas time is difficult for me. If I had it my way, the only songs we would sing in December would be carols and the vast majority would be with piano or acoustic guitar ONLY. No crazy music, no adding your own flair to the songs... Just as they are. Ahhhh, bliss :)

Amen to all of this.
We did one traditional Christmas song this week and then tried 3 contemporary Christmas songs no one had ever heard before. It's once a year folks! Keep it simple! We're going to hit up the traditional service next week, I know how they roll.
