7 Months!!!

Micah is 7 months old today! He is a whopping (HA!) 15 lbs and 3 oz.... that means he gained almost a pound and a half in one month which is really good for his age! What can I say about Micah this month? He is amazing :) He is so happy now and draws the attention and adoration of strangers everywhere we go. He smiles, laughs and plays with us constantly and is just so much fun. He is sitting even better now and can now sit indefinitely without falling over for the most part. He is really getting excited about the idea of crawling. You can see in his eyes how badly he wants it, but it is much closer to an army crawl right now and he can't always do it.

Micah has started babbling even more and will spend time each day talking excitedly to us, his toys, his swing, friends, strangers, and fish :) Oh yes, Micah LOVES fish. He also loves bananas, pears, apples, strawberries, sweet potatoes, blueberries and cherries. He has repeatedly been described by my friends as an easy going, good natured kid. He is sleeping through the night consistently and is even getting a little better at napping. The kid takes down food like it's going out of style... he can't get enough! We are enjoying our son so much right now and are excited to see what he is up to a whole month from now!
