Road Trip Stop 5- Atlanta, GA

Our last stop before we headed to the wedding was Atlanta. Our first day there, we headed out to a daytime Braves game! The fans are semi-nuts, but it was fun to give a live shout-out to Michael Bourne again!

Micah and Lizzie were happy to find out that Turner Field served Chick-fil-a-

Lizzie is very generous with her food.... sometimes too generous and you end up with a very full mouth!

Our second day in Atlanta, we took the kids downtown to the Children's Museum. It's a lot smaller than the one in Houston, but the kids loved it and the size made it way more manageable. Please forgive the flash photography... it was pretty dark in there~

They had this great two story ball structure with pulleys, cranes, ramps, and all sorts of crazy ways the balls moved up, down, around and zig zagged above you. Anyhoo, it's hard to explain, but the kiddos were enthralled!

Lizzie enjoyed shopping with her own little cart~

It was so much fun she figured two carts would be TWICE as fun.... she was very frustrated by reality~

Micah moving the crane and dumping a load of plastic balls~

The train tables were a big hit as well...

And, of course, Lizzie went back to the food. Again and again and again...
