The thing about ice dancing that I find annoying is that I have almost no idea what constitutes a good program. I watch and I think something looks pretty good and the judges score it as though it were the best ice dance of all time or alternately the lamest ice dance ever.

I decided to watch last night and ignore the judges and I actually enjoyed it (much to my surprise). My own tastes showed almost no correlation with the judges scores (and frankly I could care less about what they're watching for), but I enjoyed the show.

I will give them that last night was MUCH more fun to watch than the compulsary dance :P. I too had a very different opinion than the judges on what was good
